COVID-19 has left the company in significant debt and is making future activities difficult. However, by completing the final show of “47 Prefectures x 2 Tour”, which has been the members’ and all the fans’ ardent wish, we want to fulfill the promise between all the people we have met on this tour. My name is Rui Arisugawa, and I'm the Vocalist of Mikansei Alice.

To all of you who are reading this page, and to all of you who always support us, I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you.

Mikansei Alice is a band that formed in 2017 and will celebrate its third anniversary this September.

We take the uncertain emotions of an incomplete girl, dreams and anxiousness, crushes and despair, and put them to music. We have been working under this concept and expressing ourselves through music to be a source of citadel cornerstone for someone.

We are currently conducting “47 Prefectures x 2 Tour” hoping that this will be able to convey every one of you across the country.

However, we had to cancel the solo tours during the second round to prevent the spread of COVID-19…

Why did we decide to do the project?

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all of the scheduled events had to be cancelled or postponed. This includes the tour final show at MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka on 4th June 2020, 15 solo shows and other scheduled events we were organizing.

At the time we announced this “47 Prefectures x 2 Tour” and the solo live at MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka, some critical voices were saying “this is reckless and stupid”. However, as the tour progressed, we were able to realize something even stronger than that. We’ve realized that a lot of people have been supporting the success of this tour.

I would like to thank all the people who came to the concert, all of the opening guests of the solo tour, live music club staffs, people operating shops in various places who supported and encouraged us, many friends who have bonded with us through music and to all the staff.

It is no longer up to us to complete this tour and to do the TOUR FINAL show. This is not a "dream" but a "goal" that we have been weaving together with many of you.

We want to hold the live shows in each prefecture and make the TOUR FINAL show!

We strongly believe that this is not only the wish of the members but also of all the fans and friends who support us.

We are friendly asking to pledge 3 million yen, which is the amount of debt the band has incurred as a result of the spread of COVID-19 and the need for future activities.

* The estimated cost of a cancellation fee of MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka: Approx. 1.6 million yen

* Cancellation and postponement fee of 15 cancelled shows: Approx. 800,000 yen

(Cancellation policy varies by venue. Even postponing a show could cost 0% up to 100%)

* Staffing, travel cost and other overhead costs for postponed performances: Approx. 600,000 yen

* TOUR FINAL DVD production cost: Approx. 500,000 yen

To achieve the goal of making the TOUR FINAL show a reality together, we are pleased to announce that we have implemented this project.

In order to make the TOUR FINAL show at MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka a success, all the members have never stopped moving and have put our whole lives into this tour. No matter how tough the situation is, we'll do the best we can to make the dream stage come true that we and our fans have been aiming for. We have a strong feeling that this is the best way to go and we can't give up on promise to everyone who always supports us!

I, Rui, personally have dedicated my entire life to do a solo show at MYNAVI Akasaka BLITZ.

It was on the 27th of May, 2010 that I decided to do so, and it was the most frustrating day of my life.

For the past ten years, I've told this story to everyone I've met.

As for my friends, they’ve probably heard this story hundreds of times.

“I definitely will be performing a solo show at MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka, this is the only date I’m asking you to save.”

My father had never seen me perform.

Therefore, I’ve made up my mind to invite him to MYNAVI BLITZ Akasaka as soon as I could do a solo live performance there.

And when my father received the tickets for June 4th, he told me “I’m looking forward to it!”.

The goal I set for myself then is not only my dream now.

It's the dream of my fans, my family and my friends.

No matter how difficult it would be, I can't give up until the very last day of my life.

Also, if the dream comes true, someday, when you are about to fail in something, just remember.

’It's impossible, it's reckless, it's no longer possible.'

Even if that's what a lot of people say about your dream, you can make it come true.

Even if the rest of the world doesn't believe in your dream, we will say to you, "Hey, you didn’t give up, you can do it.”

I would appreciate if you could help us achieve our dream.

(Mikansei Alice members are planning to work on the returns one by one by ourselves and ship them with all our heart.)
